El Diablo –Tren de la Mina, The Silver River Flume and the Estacion del Nord. In the resort you will also find a variety of shops and restaurants for a short break.
Next to the Port Aventura park lies the Caribe Aquatic Park. Among other things, in the Aquatic Park you will definitely enjoy the Bahama Beach for a unique sun tan and relaxation. In Torrente you will enjoy rafting with the whole family whereas the Zona Infatil is strictly for kids as they can enjoy baby bungee and plenty water slides.
Transport
Port Aventura has its own Renfe train station. Buses and coaches serve the park from Barcelona and nearby towns; Opening time: Daily 10am to midnight (earlier off-season); Admission: You can get a 3-day, a 7-day or a 14-day pass for better deal.
Tarragona
The Costa Dorada’s main city, Tarragona,can trace its roots back to 218 BC, when it was founded by the ancient Romans as a legionnaire’s military base. Visitors at Tarragona will also see ruins of the Roman amphitheatre, aquaduct, forum and other buildings located on the Paseo Arqueologico (Archaeological Avenue).Rambla Nova represents the modern main street outside the old city walls. The city has also some excellent beaches like Playa Llarga, which is regarded as one of the best on the Catalonian coast. An array of museums that house antiquities, paintings and sculptures are open to the visitors as well.
Salou
Platja de Llevant is the longest beach in the wider area of Costa Dorada. There are excellent new facilities such as showers and toilets for visitors.
Platja de Ponent is one of the biggest in Salou and borders the neighbouring resort of Cabrils to the east.
Platja dels Campellans Like all the resort's beaches, its waters are shallow and it is a perfect spot for families with young children.
La Platja dels Llenguadets is a small cove, only accessible on foot from Torrassa Street. Although small it has plenty of good facilities.
Platja Penya Tallada is a beautiful little beach in picturesque surroundings.
Platja Cala Font takes its name from the natural spring. It is bordered by rocks at both ends.
Platja Cala Crancs is the eastern Salou’s beach and is one of the most attractive.
